For our 13th month. ♥

I’ve always wanted to do my own bucket list, but I realized that it’s more fun to do a list of things to do before you die with someone special. :’)

I will love you more in the next 366 days ♥

Since we won’t be spending Christmas together, I decided to celebrate it with him in advance. ;)

This is my gift for him. It’s a 2012 calendar, and it’s 366 because it’s a leap year. ;)

It doesn’t have to be an expensive gift, right? It’s the thought that counts. ;) Yes, I was the one who made the foam lettering of each month. ♥ Hihihi.

I gave him this calendar during our Paskuhan last Friday night, in the middle of Lovers’ Lane, right before the fireworks display started. At first, he was clueless why I brought him in this spot, then I started reading a letter (which I attached to the calendar). He couldn’t say anything afterwards. All I saw was a teary-eyed guy with a big smile on his face. :’)

MERRY CHRISTMAS, BABY! :)

100-day photo challenge

Day 19 - A picture of something you love to do

Besides singing, eating, reading, and playing the guitar?

SCRAPBOOKING! :)

I have passion for arts and crafts, just like my sisters. :) These are just 75% of my artsy stuff. I’m too lazy to pull out the others! Haha! I’m currently using these for my OJT scrapbook. :)

Upper photo: My stamp and ribbon collections :)

Lower photo: My flower pressing kit (Yes, I actually keep the flowers given to me or to my sister or to my mom, and preserve them there. :P), and other scrapbook shiz and art materials

Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently
This is my OJT scrapbook. I’m not yet done with it, actually. I just took a picture of the scrapbook cover for the sake of this photo challenge. ;) Anyway, this scrapbook will summarize how my internship made a huge impact in my life this summer. I’ll take photos of the scrapbook once it’s finished. :P

Rants and other stuff

I’m currently exploring Photoshop CS5.

Hmmm. Asdfghjkl this is crazyyy. I’m experimenting too much, and I’m sleepy already.

Well, my sister and I are currently working on a project. I won’t spill it out yet until we have the output already.

Hint: WEDDING :)

This might be the first step to reaching our dream business together: The Secret Crafts. ;)

Anyway, I need to sleep now. Big event tomorrow (and on Wednesday).

Why?

READ READ READ: ABS-CBN will be having a job fair tomorrow and on Wednesday!

Looking for a job? Go to SM City North Edsa Sky Dome and TriNoma Activity Center from 5 am to 7 pm! :)

We will be there in behalf of Citibank. Hihi. See you there! ;)

November 11, 2010: Bow-Making

I didn’t have anything to do for the day since I don’t have classes.

Check out the product of my boredom:

I made these out of scraps of ribbon (from my Christmas/birthday presents). Honestly, I don’t know anything about bow-making. I just experimented and made use of the materials available here at home. These tested my sewing skills, too!

I’m actually planning to make rings out of these bows. Hihihi. :>

October 24, 2010: Arts and Crafts

Time flies so fast, and only 41 days left ‘till my sister’s wedding!

A lot of things have been accomplished already: the gown, shoes, church, reception, and souvenirs.

Now we decided to focus on the other details of her wedding (reception)— the decors needed for the venue. Since her wedding is more of a morning tea party, we decided to go for shabby chic.

We had the pots painted white and designed them using patterned laces. We made use of pink Japanese papers to make the flowers. It looks dainty and exquisite, isn’t it? ;)

We’ve been into arts and crafts ever since, and I believe it runs in the family. ;) We’re also into scrapbooking, card-making, and other forms of crafts. Actually, my sister and I have been contemplating about making this as a business some time in the future. In fact, we already have a name for it!

Secret Crafts: Where Thoughts Become Things

(Inspired by the book entitled, The Secret by Rhonda Byrne)

I’m really looking forward to this thing, I hope the universe will conspire on it. :)
